Longing for Adventure

Satisfying a yearning for an adventure is not easy. It takes the perfect trip that specifically addresses the need you feel inside. It might require cruising the Red Sea or staying overnight in a Laos village hotel or going on a Zimbabwe safari. You might want to hike deep into the forest to see the Mayan ruins or dance in the streets at a Thailand festival.

The only one who can decide which adventure travel option will satisfy your personal needs is….you and only you. So if the thought of planning one more ordinary vacation makes you want to stay home, you should go ahead and start thinking about what would constitute a real adventure in your life. With the availability of overseas adventure travel, you don't have to stay home or settle for less.

Your secret travel desires don't have to be a secret any longer. Your heart can find itself exactly where it needs to be in order to satisfy the yearnings that just won't leave you alone. Unusual vacations were made just for you.

I needed an adventure

I needed an adventure. But what is an adventure? The word brings to mind Indiana Jones films. I guess what I wanted was to take measure of myself, to know what I was capable of. I decided to go on a survival course, sailing and camping off the coast of Maine. That trip started me on a path of adventure as a way of life.

In 2007 I took an independent trip around the world, trekking overland through French Polynesia, Australia, Asia, The Middle East, The Mediterranean, Eastern and Western Europe.

From that experience I've selected trips and services I've found to be the best at providing rich, experiential travel. I hope you enjoy them. http://www.around-the-world-travel-adventures.com/
